Built specifically for Hyper glide cassettes, the Shimano CN-HG93 9 Speed Chain uses a super-narrow, chamfered inner plates for the best shifting performance. The HG93 uses Zinc-Alloy coated outer plates and a corrosion-resistant coating on the inner and outer plates for extreme durability and smoothness. The link pins, rollers, pins and plates have been heat treated and put through a chromizing treatment for superior shifting performance.
