Transportation In The Area

The Town Shuttle is the main shuttle route that travels between the Mountain and Town. The route usually takes 15-20 minutes depending on weather. It loops through Crested Butte with stops at Old Town Hall, 6th and Belleview, the 4-Way Stop and Teocalli. All buses are wheelchair accessible. For ADA transportation, please call (970) 349-5616.

Transportation In The Area

The city of Steamboat Springs offers a comprehensive system of free transportation between the ski area, downtown and most hotel, condominium, restaurant, grocery, and entertainment locations. The SST runs daily (schedules change seasonally) stopping at each location approximately every 20 minutes throughout the day.

Transportation In The Area

The Free Ride bus system offers year-round service through town’s most popular neighborhoods. The bus system is free to all users and is a convenient way to get around town. Depending on the route, most buses run on a 30 min or 15 min schedule.

Summit offers a wide range of taxi and ride share programs including Uber, Lyft and Taxi services that will take you around town as well as neighboring towns throughout Summit County. 

The Summit Stage strives to deliver free, safe, reliable, and courteous public transportation to all our guests in Summit County. The Summit Stage offers free public bus service throughout Summit County. This public transportation system connects the resorts of Breckenridge, Keystone and Copper Mountain, as well as the towns of Silverthorne, Frisco, and Dillon and Summit Cove.

Transportation In The Area

The Galloping Goose Transit System is a fixed route transportation system funded by the Town of Telluride. The Town operates a Town Loop.  

The Galloping Goose also provides service for various youth programs and local non-profit groups on occasion. Late night services for several summer festivals are added to daily service. The Galloping Goose currently operates 365 days a year.

Transportation In The Area

While many Vail Valley residents own and operate their own vehicles, there are several public transportation options available to make navigating around our communities simple. 

Local employees and business visitors have several choices for easy transit within the Vail Valley. Options include the ECO Transit and Town of Vail bus systems, a variety of shuttle and taxi services and numerous bike paths traversing amongst and between the core areas of most communities. 

ECO Transit operates a bus service between Gypsum and Vail and throughout Eagle County, including to Leadville in Lake County. For information, call 970-328-3520 or visit: http://www.eaglecounty.us/transit 

Town of Avon’s transit system consists of two in-town shuttles, a skier shuttle for access to Beaver Creek Resort, and an evening restaurant shuttle, which connects the Town of Avon and Beaver Creek Resort. Avon Station serves as a regional transit hub providing access to ECO Transit services, which operate throughout the Vail Valley and into Lake County.

Winter Park is served by The Lift, a free bus system that has routes throughout the Fraser Valley. The Transit Department oversees The Lift, a free bus system serving Winter Park, Fraser and Granby.

Transportation In The Area

Skyline Bus offers service throughout Big Sky and between Big Sky and Bozeman to fulfill everyone's transportation needs. Economical, efficient, and eco-friendly! 

Routes provide service between Big Sky and Bozeman, as well as local Big Sky service between the Canyon, Meadow, Town Center, and Mountain areas. Skyline also connects with the Streamline Bus System for travel throughout Bozeman and neighboring communities.

There is free public transit in Park City, but limited out of Salt Lake City or Heber Valley to Park City.
