S’mores are a staple for any fire pit whether you’re camping in the woods or having a backyard party. Everyone enjoys roasting a marshmallow to perfection over a cozy fire while discussing whether they like it crispy or golden brown. There is a true art to making the perfect s’more and, in my opinion, you have to go beyond the graham cracker, marshmallow, and milk chocolate standard recipe.  Here are a few of my favorite s’more concoctions I’ve tasted and approved over many years of campfire s’more cooking.

Emily’s Famous S’more RecipeWhite Chocolate Strawberry Smore

Okay, it’s not really famous, but I believe I am the first person to invent this combo. I know it’s shocking, but I’m not the biggest fan of milk chocolate. So, I created this recipe with a white chocolate alternative and it tastes like a strawberry milkshake. You absolutely must try it.

You will need:

  • Honey Graham Crackers
  • Strawberry Marshmallows
  • Hershey’s Cookies & Cream Bar (or other white chocolate bar)
  • Banana (optional)

The Pina Colada S’more RecipePina Colada Smore Recipe

If you like Pina coladas and getting caught next to a campfire, try this s’more combination with toasted coconut marshmallows. Generally, I like my marshmallows crispy, but with these marshmallows I prefer them to be warmed to golden brown because burnt coconut doesn’t taste as good.

You will need:

  • Honey Graham Crackers
  • Toasted Coconut Marshmallows
  • Pineapple
  • Crunch Bars

The Man S’more RecipeBacon Smore

Being a bacon lover isn’t just a hobby, it’s a lifestyle choice. As a bacon lover, I had to try it on a s’more and naturally, I thought it was killer. You have to cook the bacon in advance, but it is well worth the work.

You will need

  • Honey Graham Crackers
  • Bacon
  • White Marshmallows
  • Milk Chocolate
  • A splash of maple syrup (optional)
